The wheel has an auto return to "center" when you let go of it. The force feedback can be felt and typically the intensity can be dialed in with the game.

Depends on if you have forcefeedback turned on. In dirt 3 with feedback on you fight the wheel on rough terrain.

It's called Force Feedback. And yes, it does. You should take a look at Thrustmaster and Fanatec. They're way better when it comes to steering wheels.

It feels more like a arcade wheel. My fanatec wheel for my 360 felt like a real car. I returned this wheel the day after I bought it.
