“Just purchased a G920 for PC, why is this model $100 more than the 920? They look pretty much the same, other than one is for the Xbox and the others for the PS5. Is it possible this is the reason? I want a decent entry level wheel, & prefer saving the $.”

The G293 is one step above the 290. I don’t know the exact difference because I don’t have the 290. I believe it’s the upgraded force feedback.
