How thick of a table can it attach to? null

About an inch thick as it is. I purchased aftermarket hardware and attached it to 1 3/4 . little bit of a pain in the butt, but way more secure. The stock wheel and shifter both tend to loosen up and come off (during the most stressful moves of a race)
