Yes I plug mine into the mic jack on my computer and it works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This headset connects via USB not a standard 1/8" analog mic jack. Some headsets will have a mic and headphone/speaker out jacks on them. So you could likely plug this into a USB port on you computer or but a different headset as I described above but it does not need to be a mic only device.

I have multiple mic options on my computer (see picture attachment) and all are select-able. The Logitech H390 is a simple device that requires no additional software. In my use of the H390, it has been well-behaved at all times.
