• Range is only 40 feet, according to package. I know mine cut out when I walked into another room, which was less than 40 feet, but there were walls between me and my laptop. I hope this helps.

• Hello. The wireless range on the H800 is about 40 feet using the USB transmitter or 35 feet using Bluetooth. I don't think it will work through floors/ceilings.
