“Do you need to use a USB adapter or dongle for it to work or can I just pair it using the bluetooth with my Surface Pro 3? My USB port is loose and worn out.”

Yes you can pair it without having to use the USB dongle provided . I have it paired with my tv which is my large monitor. I originally had it paired with the laptoop, but decided to go through the tv instead so that I could use them for both. Couldn’t be happier including my wife who complained about the loudness when I watched something she didn’t care to.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a USB option with the dongle stored in the headset, which is pretty nifty, but I only use mine connecting to my phone via Bluetooth. Works great with my iPhone. Bluetooth is Bluetooth, if your surface has it then you should be able to connect the headset with it. From what I’ve read the quality may be better then the USB connection too.
