Is it compatible with direct tv, philips, and yamaha? null

Absolutely, the Harmony remote supports pretty much anything with an IR Receiver in it. TV's, Cable Boxes, Sound Systems, Game systems, etc.

This remote controls everything- incredible - a dream come true.

I'm using my Harmony 650 with a Sharp TV and a Yamaha YSP-2500 sound bar with no problems. Cannot see why it would not work with direct tv box or Phillips products. Have you gone to the Harmony 650 website to check the compatibility of your products?

Not sure about the others but it definitely works with direct TV
