Ran into the same issue at first. If you always leave your cable box on, then you need to set up your remote to leave the cable box alone in the power on/of selection when using the My Harmony app. If it's just turning The Tv on and turning the cable box off then you can select your cable box on the led screen. Click the button to enter it's folder, then toggle the power on/off button from there. The issue I had which it sounds like you are having was that one was already on while the other was off. So when you toggle both with the on/off shortcut it's turning one on and one off. So you need to either set up your remote to leave one alone or toggle the on/off manually from the remotes functions.

Right now it's out of sync you need to get it back together. That can happen when the remote is not pointed directly at the equipment when turning on and off. Very simple fix.

Please try again later.If you're still experiencing the same problem, assuming you have model 650 when you hit watchTV if your cable shuts off press the HELP button, on the remote LCD you will see it asking you a set of questions Ex. did this fix the problem (yes) (no).... it will eventually ask you if your cable is on, if no hit the no option it will then turn on your box asking you once again if the cable box is on, assuming it is hit the yes option on the remote. it should reprogram and fix the issue.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't say for certain, but here is one thing you should check. Verify that your "Watch TV" activity includes both devices - TV and Cable box. Somewhere there is a setting that says when you select an activity you want to power off any device that is not part of that activity. If you did not include the cable box in the "Watch TV" activity it would turn off when you select it.
