“Does this remote handle a Samsung Bly-Ray / Sound System ? I see that it will handle a Blu-Ray disc but no mention of sound system like my Samsung. Will it also handle this? Also considering buying a TIVO in the near future. Will it handle that device as well? Thanks”

• Go to the logitech website for the remote, and it has a place to put in the make and model of anything using a remote to see if its compatible. This database is updated regularly. I have 2 sound systems, one only 4 months old and one pretty old, and they had both. It has almost everything Samsung.

• This device will most definitely handle your blu-ray player. It has a very very large net of electronic appliances that work. Even if for some odd reason your device is not on their list, as long as you have the original remote for the device, the Logitech remote is able to "learn" the commands from the remote.
