• Yes. The battery cover is on the front bottom of the remote. It is very tight. Slides downward. The battery is the round watch type.

• Hello, Harmony Smart Control and Companion remotes use one, three volt coin cell lithium battery, type CR2032. You can access the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
