Yes, it does work with Echo using IFTTT. I use it to turn on and off my DirecTV setup. You do have to say "Alexa trigger Directv on" and it works.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it does. That's exactly how I use it. With the MyHarmony application, I add devices and activities, connect MyHarmony as an IFTTT channel, then add a recipe with Alexa to turn on or off the different activities.
