The base plugs into an ac outlet. The remote has a button battery that is user replaceable. Not rechargeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't use a rechargable battery. It uses one, three volt coin cell lithium battery, type CR2032. Under normal remote usage, the battery is expected to last one year.
