“Is this the original K400 or the slightly updated 400r? The difference is the location of the volume keys. On the original K400 the volume keys were located in the upper left corner like the picture shows.”

Interesting. The box says it is a K400, but the volume down is part of the F11 key and volume up is part of the F12 key.
