Yes, it will connect by Bluetooth to any of the iPads, iPhones, etc. that have Bluetooth as an option. The tray is a handy feature but your particular iPad (or whatever) may or may not fit in the tray because of the thickness of some cases. However, you don't actually have to put your iPad in the tray on the keyboard... it just has to be within range of the signal. I often use my keyboard on my lap while my iPad or iPhone is on the table or on a TV tray beside me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah as long as you can connect via Bluetooth you should be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I paired this keyboard to my ipad, not sure about the ipad model number. I should work with all the ipads.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use it with my iPad Air 2 128gb and it works perfectly. It also works with my iPhone SE
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the keyboard for my iPad Pro. It works well, but the only way the tablet fits into the keyboard tray is in the portrait orientation. This causes a few problems: The iPad is top heavy and the entire set up wants to tip over if you are working on your lap or another soft surface. It's fine on the table. Another problem is the "home" button sits below the keyboard tray, which makes it difficult to use. Finallly, half of the speakers are sitting in the tray. You can flip the iPad so the home button is at the top, but that doesn't solve the speaker problem.
