Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I am currently hooked up via HDMI to my monitor with this keyboard and a wireless mouse. I have my laptop hidden as I have no use for the device to be on my desk or in my line of sight. With that said, you don't need your primary keyboard on the laptop. Hook this keyboard up via bluetooth and hook up a wireless mouse and welcome to the world of wireless tech.
