the keyboard has a bluetooth dongle you can insert into an open USB port so if your Sony got one it probably would work with it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So I use this on my Sony Bravia 810. Since yours is a newer model I would think it should. It has a dongle that you plug into one of your USB slots in the TV to receive the signal.

(Note: haven't really found a big use for it on the TV, but it connected, and typed the few letters that I tested.) Connects very easily to my tablet and phone, and works very well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm almost positive that it should work with the Bravia 850 as long as you have a USB port it should work because I got it for my son and he uses it for his Android box and he loves it he uses it everyday. I hope this is very helpful for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure about the 850...I have a Sony Bravia and it works well. I’d think as long as you have USB ports, it will work as the dongle is the key to connecting the keyboard to any unit (I also use mine with my MacBook Air, although the trackpad feature is a bit of a problem with the MacBook).
