• Hello, the K800 battery has user replaceable batteries inside the unit.

• The battery has developed “Memory” and cannot hold a full charge. Don’t waste money on a battery for a 5 year old keyboard - just get a new one.

• I've had mine for about 3 months and have had no problems. I do plug it in, when the light on the top of the keyboard shows only 1 lights.
