• Paired easily with an S2, don't see why S4 would be a problem.

• I'm not sure about the S4, but I bought this keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (9.7") and it worked perfectly, immediately, with no issues. Installs the same way as all my other bluetooth devices (find the device, then pair up). I'm very happy with the item and workmanship.
