• I have a Samsung android phone which while I'm reviewing my history on my Logitech circle app I can save specific snapshots or video segments to my phone. So, it's up to you how much and when you can save. The camera stays dormant until it picks up motion, then it starts recording which it saves as an event with a time stamp. You can review a 24 hour day and pick and choose what you want to save or ignore. We really love it.

• Yes you can download them but I believe you have to do it with the 24 hour window.
