• It connects and downloads through the USB port so it should work on the 08 M.B PRO

• Yes, no drivers necessary, plug into USB and mouse away. one interesting tidbit though, my MBP recognized it as both a mouse AND a keyboard, likely because of the 6-button programmable customization. best regards
