how do you get it to work null

Once there is a battery in the battery compartment, simply turn the mouse on via the switch on the bottom and it's ready to use.

You turn on the mouse and plug in the receiver through the usb port on your laptop or desktop.

There's a USB receiver in the battery area. Plug this in your computer, put a battery in the mouse, turn on mouse and computer, and you are ready to go.
