• There’s a switch on the bottom to turn on/off. Just remember to turn it off to save battery.

• Sorry, no. it has a small switch to turn it on and off. But it is very cost efficient and requires only a single AAA battery. You should have no problem.

• no, there is a small slide switch on bottom to turn it off and on. It is very easy on battery. I have forgotten to turn it off a few times but it is still on its original battery and just keeps going and going and going with Duracell. Hopes that helps.
