Yes, this will be compatible as a replacement for your current M310. You will need to pair the new M310 with the old receiver. Search for "Logitech unifying software" from the official Logitech support website for information about how to pair the new mouse with your current receiver.

Logitech has a small windows program that will allow you to mate a mouse and a nano receiver. Thaty have a separate one for a unifying receiver, so make sure which one you use. I'm not sure that the nano receiver can be user programmed for both a keyboard and a mouse, but it's worth a shot.

I used it for the same purpose. Needed a second mouse to set it up. May not have been necessary, but it was easy that way.

It probably wont work with the same USB receiver that came with your keyboard set, but it will work as an independent mouse along with your keyboard. You will need to use the USB receiver that comes with the mouse and the one that came with your keyboard set. The only problem is that you will be using 2 USB ports.

You can call the Logitech toll free number on the package and ask for technical support. They will want the serial number of the keyboard and mousre you already have.
