• It makes a clicking sound. I don't think you will find a mouse that this cheap that makes no clicking sound at all.

• I find it to be fairly quiet. It clicks, but isn't annoyingly loud like some can be.

• Yes, the mouse has a click but it is NOT annoying in any form or fashion. Also, the feel under the hand that it provides is truly second to none! I like it so much that I have purchased it in ALL available colors!

• There is a slightly audible click in the mouse mechanism itself, but not in the system speakers.
