Not sure.. Because I've not noticed that happening on my mouse... You might want to check your battery.. When you change/check your battery, make sure you put it in correctly.... and if it still flashes blue... Then I might return to Best Buy. As long as it's within warranty time, then maybe get a replacement.. Its probably the battery if you've used a lot and its been over 4 months.. like you said above..

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told by my Best Buy associate that this mouse should work with most Mac and PCs. It works great on my new Mac, Mojave 10.14.6. I would suggest that you check with an associate at your local Best But Store
