Products are frequently placed on sale based on the competition's pricing, which this happened to coincide with a major sale from one of Best Buy's competitors. This mouse has an MSRP of $29.99 and is already really well priced for the quality you are receiving. Don't forget that if you find a better price through a qualified retailer that Best Buy will price match.

Things I've found when shopping online, put it in a shopping cart without buying and they will email you reminding you its there and they sometimes will offer discounts.
