Plug in the the wireless dongle into the USB port on your MacBook, turn on the mouse (make sure the battery is in place or the insulating strip is removed to allow the battery to power the mouse) and your Mac should find it no sweat. If you want a little more control of the mouse you can download the Mac-specific Logitech control center found on the Logitech website. I use the M510 with my Mac Mini without any issues and I have the Logitech software loaded as well.
