• If there is a USB to plug into it should, I use it on our iMac computer.

• I'm not familiar with iPad hardware connections. If it has a USB port, this trackball MAY work.

• Best for lap top to avoid finger pad. That is why I bought it.

• Not directly. The mouse uses a USB wireless receiver (it comes with the mouse) and I pads don't have USB ports. I don't know if newer ones with a USB-C and an adapter would work or not.
