“I've had this for a few yrs, and suddenly a few mths ago it won't stay connected and says USB malfunctioned. Tried the uninstall/install drivers and now it won't even show up on my computer. I have Windows 10 laptop. Does anyone know how to fix this??”

Buy a new one. Seriously. I've been through 5 of these in the last 10 years.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sometimes, when PC resource use gets high - usually from browser using FB, mine freezes because something stepped on the memory it was using. I just pick it up, turn it off, turn it back on, and everything is fine. Then, I usually close Firefox and restart it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried other wireless devices in the USB port this is connected to? If those are working, and showing up in your device manger, the it would seem that the port is ok. I would however try a different port and see if that fixes the problem.
