I use rubbing alcohol and wipe it down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use a pen to pop the ball out of the socket from underneath the mouse then use a q-tip on the now exposed contacts. Should only take a few seconds. I do it about once a week myself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ball is removable. Just remove it and use a Qtip to clean the inside of the ball housing. It will roll and work good as new.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Just pop the ball out of it's socket with a pencil. Wipe the ball and the ball supports inside the socket off with a soft cloth. Brush off the optics inside the ball socket with a tiny paint brush if needed. If it just seems to get stuck and the pointer jumps around it's probably because the USB receiver can not "see" the trackball. In that case move the receiver to another USB port or move it closer to the trackball with a short USB extension cable.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can pop the ball out from the bottom and clean them off very easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I assume you're talking about the dirt/skin oil/muck that collects on the tiny ball bearings that support the ball. I use a stiff toothbrush dipped in a small amount of rubbing alcohol. I've also used a pin to pick out the stuff. The key here is to clean it every other day or so, and keep your hands very clean and dry. No lotion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found that you can remove them easily with your fingernail. If this grosses you out or you don't have fingernails I think a tissue or q-tip would work well for this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ball can be pushed out of its socket from the bottom. Clean, then push the ball back in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Push out the ball from underneath the mouse. Clean contact points with cotton swab either dry or wet with alcohol. Pop ball back into place.
