Doubtful... at the price point it would not be too onerous the buy a new set or a cheap wireless mouse - yes you'd be taking up another USB port but a cheap USB hub would get you out of jail if required... and again... they are cheap enough these days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I, too, have replaced the mouse with an upgraded one. There are actually 2 USB wireless connectors. One for the keyboard and one for the mouse (located in the battery panel). Since each one is independent of the other, they can be upgraded or replaced independently as well

When they are new, the keyboard and mouse work on the same receiver right away. If you want to REPLACE only ONE of the items, your new item will come with a new receiver, which you won't need, but you should still keep somewhere for a rainy day. There is a way to make your new mouse "talk" to your old receiver, so you don't need to have two receivers plugged in, which would suck. Those instructions should come with the mouse...just be sure to get a Logitech mouse, or check the Logitech website. Your mouse may actually be fine. The light is almost never on; what you describe with your mouse might be just a shiny surface underneath or the battery may not be seated properly. I have found this keyboard/mouse combo to be very rugged, and would be surprised if your mouse was a lemon. But that stuff happens to even the best products. Also, the computer specialists at Best Buy computer department could probably tell you how to do the pairing if you stop by the store. They are great at explaining this stuff.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not that I know of. I have 3 of these and they don't interfere with each other, so they all operate on different frequencies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Pete, unfortunately, you are not able to buy a replacement mouse for your combo. You'll either have to purchase a new set. The MK270 comes with a 3-year Limited hardware warranty. If you are within the time frame, you may be eligible for an exchange as long as it meets criteria. Submit a warranty claim on our support website and you'll be good to go. Have a great day. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024926554-Warranty-Wireless-Combo-MK270
