• Hi Idpmail, you are correct! The only difference between the two is the mouse option with the MK270 Combo. Since it's the holidays, it's very possible that the combo is less expensive right now. So snag it so you can save some money! Hope that helps! -N from Logitech

• They are packages, probably production related. But great combination one of my co workers used w/ her own mouse and still pretty good
