“I bought the Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. The directions say to connect the USB into the computer. The part is so small that I can not figure out where it goes. I know it sounds like a dumb question but I am at a loss.”

It plugs into any USB port on your computer. It is small, but it will fit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It won't fit in the place that a phone cord or ethernet cable would go, but where a flash drive would go. It goes in any port that you could use for a flash drive. I think there are icons, but I can't actually see it on my computer. If it looks like the right shape and the dongle doesn't seem to fit, try turning it over and try again.
