• If your question is: Is it ok to use just the wireless mouse and the laptop keyboard, then the answer is yes. You can turn the wireless keyboard on and off. The set comes with a USB wireless connect that goes to both the keyboard and mouse, but you can turn off the keyboard and leave at home while traveling, I hope this helps answer your questions.
