Does the mouse and keyboard connect to the IPad 2? null

This can be used with Bluetooth compatible devices.

I don't think so since it works from a USB and the iPad doesn't have that connection.

Unless you have an OTG Connector, I am assuming it will not work as this keyboard and mouse connects via a USB. If you buy or have an OTG Connector to Lightning Port, it may work. Not for sure. Hope this helps!
