The keyboard and mouse work independently, so not having one should not affect the other. Make sure your device recognizes the receiver, then manually reconnect the keyboard using the button on the bottom. Another step would be to connect the receiver to another device to try to isolate the problem.. I could always start with the obvious to make sure the batteries in the keyboard are fully charged, but I'll take for granted you've already done that.. Hope this helps. Rick
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It shouldn't matter whether you use the optical mouse or not because the dongle isn't a unifying dongle. Try downloading the Logitech Options software to find and pair your keyboard that way.
