I use mine all day long and it never did that.

I didn’t care for the mouse (too slim) that came with the keyboard so I purchased a different one but I’m wondering if there’s something in the settings on your computer that might need to be adjusted? If not, maybe see if you can exchange it for the same one and that might solve the issues. I love mine! Soft touch and quiet. Doesn’t take up a lot of room on my desk and I can toss it in my bag with my laptop and work from anywhere!
