Had an employee that had the same issue. When she pulled the paper from the batteries on the back a piece was left behind. Popped the batteries out and replaced them and she was good to go.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there's a on/off switch. Also, when first unpacked, the battery is not connected. You have to remove the paper tab so that the battery is actually in use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When using a wireless mouse or keyboard, do not plug the receiver into a USB 3.0 - it just simply does not work or will not work correctly. If it does work, you will have a lot of hesitation when using the mouse. Plug it into an available USB 2.0 port and it should work fine. - As a note - a USB 3.0 port is colored Blue.
