Yes the keyboard can be raised

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there are 2 little tabs in the back that raises the keyboard. but I would try the keyboard first before buying. For me I felt like the keyboard was horrible touch / feel to it. Kept making typos because of it. I used it for about 1 hour and decided to bring it back because I couldn't stand it (plus the mouse was not fully functional either).
