Is the mouse optical or laser??? null

Mike: There is really no difference between an optical and or laser mouse as they both use a led to read movement of the mouse. The naming is an advertising trick. I think you were asking if this was a 'Roller Ball' mouse and it is not, the mouse works on every surface I have tried it on including glass/smooth surfaces..

Optical. That’s what it says in the specifications.
