“Does this keyboard go into automatic “sleep” mode where you then have to wait for it to come out of “sleep” and pair again thru wi-fi before it will operate? My last unit did that and took a minute to operate each time after coming out of sleep mode.”

Not unless your system is enabled for sleep mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, you can immediately start using the keyboard and mouse each time. No lag at all. You do not have to pair each time because it is a usb wireless dongle, not Bluetooth.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You shouldn’t have that problem with this set as it “connects” through a USB adapter - not Bluetooth. I have a Bluetooth mouse that i used quite a bit prior to purchasing this set but have switched to using this one instead.
