Do not know as I know it works with Windows.

Unfortunately, the MK540 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Bundle isn't compatible with macOS, only with Windows 7/8/10 and Chrome OS. I could suggest the MK850 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-mk850-performance-wireless-keyboard-and-optical-mouse-black/5761911.p?skuId=5761911 as an alternative combo that works with macOS 10.15 & up. The USB ports on the MacBook Air M1 are USB-C ports, and the Unifying Receiver that comes with the Combo is a regular USB, so it wouldn't work with the receiver unless you buy a USB-C to USB Adapter, but luckily the MK850 (both the mouse and keyboard) also work via Bluetooth, so you'd be good there.
