“We just set up and mouse works but nothing from the keyboard. Will not type anything. Have done numerous reconnections and tried new batteries and still nothing. Anyone else have same problems or troubleshooting options ?”

Sorry because I have to ask a stupid question, but did you notice the power switch on the front of the keyboard? It's on the right side, above the 10-key section.
