will this work with an HP Pavilion null

This keyboard and mouse combo comes with a USB Bluetooth dongle/adapter. If your device has an open USB port, basic typing and mouse clicking would work.

Has a really small gadget that u plug into a USB port, I can't imagine why it wouldn't work with any, mines a dell, at work it's on a Aser I think, pretty sure my co worker bought one for home too and she usually gets an HP.

I assume so. I have it on my HP Envy and it works fine.

SOFTWARE DISK IS INCLUDED FOR COMPATIBLE WINDOWS OR MAC VERSION

You should have no problem with it, as long as you're using one of the listed supported Windows versions, or Windows 10. My client has Windows 10, and it worked fine.
