Yes, you can use the keyboard on one computer and the mouse on another. Both the keyboard and mouse each have their own buttons, simply hit a button on the mouse and you are connected to a different device than your keyboard. The same applies to your keyboard. I do this all day long, go back and forth between devices. It's super easy! I highly recommend the Logitech - MK850 Performance Full-size Wireless Optical Keyboard and Mouse.

Both the keyboard and the mouse have a "selector" on them 1,2,3 that allows you to connect the device (keyboard or mouse) to a specific computer, table... It works great. I currently swap devices between my work laptop and personal laptop
