Hi If the default settings got changed, with or without knowing, that prevents you from using default function keys (F1 thorough F12), which I need to use a lot, without keeping FN key pressed every time, you can change it by pressing FN + ESC key combination once to LOCK it. This way you don't have to use two fingers (eg. FN + F12) when there is a need to use one of the F1 - F12 keys. Hope this helps someone!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can disable the FN keys (F1-F12) by pressing the FN key + ESC. Keep in mind that you press the right FN key (the big one) The left FN key doesnt work. Took me a while to figure that out lol.

The F1 key for instance has a "home" icon so that if you were browsing (by keyboard, as if anyone ever really did that) you could do FN+F1 to go back to the "home" page set in the browser (or app). Alternate FN / Function based items like media control (play / skip / volume) have been a gimmick for years, many times as a dedicated row on a keyboard, rather than requiring an FN Key press to activate... the only good way those keys work is via an extra row .. can't quickly enough press FN plus look at the keyboard (cause every manufacturer changes which ones are which) to see which key you meant to press.. eg . my dell laptop .. FN+2 is the mute .. on this keyboard its FN+F8 ... not standard .. so again.. zero points to Logitech for trying to remap keys vs dedicated row.
