“I just bought this combo because I have trouble with keyboard/mouse lag using wireless USB. I finally got the MK850 paired to my PC using Bluetooth. BUT...you can't 'wake up' your PC with either device!! No one's mentioned this anywhere I've found. :-(”

That's what the dongle allows. I had troubles getting them connected, but eventually did.
