• Yes it does have a microphone and your streaming apps can mute it. If desired, you can turn off the mic in the LogiTune app (along with forcing a specific resolution) and tweaking auto framing and frame rates.

• Yes/Yes There is a yellow LED light when on the camera when the microphone is on.
