See the LogitechOptions Software. It has 7 programmable buttons and can program application-specific. I have different settings for most applications, as a developer.

Please try again later.With the Logitech Options app, you can address Middle click, scroll left/rught buttons, the forward/back buttons, and the side button to do whatever you want. Even set keystroke macros to them. Every button except the left and right click are programmable.

Yes, all 8 are fully programmable via the "Logitech Options" program from Logitech. You can also have different mouse setting profiles for each program you desire and it auto switches as you go between those programs.

Although, there is developer mode that can be enabled so left and right button mods beyond simple switching left for right are possible.

You can only switch which button equates to "left click" and "right click". For the other buttons, the Logitech Options software will provide a list of alternate functions for each button.
