I don't think you can through the mouse software but I do program the buttons on applications which allow me to assign them (i.e. World of Warcraft or other games). I think you could get them programmed to work with the keyboard center under Windows.

There's no 'copy' or 'paste' function to assign the buttons, that I could find, though there is a screen grab function that I assigned to the side button. Maybe the Windows environment offers this but I'm not seeing it on my Mac.
